Tailored Montessori education for every stage of development
At Oak Tree Montessori, we offer Montessori programs for children ages 18 months through 6 years. Each program is designed to support children's natural development through authentic Montessori materials and practices.
"Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment."
— Dr. Maria Montessori
Children progress at their own pace through practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, cultural, and science-based activities in our mixed-age classrooms, benefiting from peer modeling and collaborative learning.
Our Toddler Program recognizes this age as a critical period for developing independence, language, and social skills. In a carefully prepared environment with a low teacher-to-child ratio (1:6), toddlers engage in practical life activities adapted for small hands, explore their world through sensorial experiences, and build confidence in their abilities.
The language-rich environment includes songs, stories, and meaningful conversations that support early language development. We provide individualized care for eating and sleeping routines, toilet learning support, and daily outdoor play for gross motor development.
Our Primary Program is the heart of Montessori education, serving children during what Dr. Montessori identified as a critical period for learning. In mixed-age classrooms with complete Montessori materials, children develop academically, socially, and emotionally while following their natural curiosity.
The program features uninterrupted 3-hour work periods where children engage with the complete Montessori curriculum: practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language, cultural studies, geography, science, arts, and music. Individual and small group lessons are tailored to each child's developmental stage and interests.
Through grace and courtesy lessons, children develop social skills and character. Daily outdoor time connects children with nature and supports physical development. The mixed-age environment (3-6 years) fosters peer learning, leadership, and community building.
